Member described herein be admitted to the institution by the Governing Council – Any Firm, Corporation, Association, a Department of Central or State Government, an institution or a Statutory Authority which is interested in improving the profession of Plant Engineering is eligible to become an institutional member.

It is requested that the esteemed organisation become LIFE INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER. However, in case of ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP the tariff is 1/5th of the above i.e., Rs. 20,000/- Rs. 15,000/- Rs. 5,000/- respectively. The year is deemed to end be 31st March.
Institutional Members can nominate 2 representatives to Participate in the regular programmes like technical lectures, Meet the Manufactures, Progarmme, Case Studies, and other Free Programme, in Addition to concessions on Advertisements, Seminar delegation fees ect. |

Life Fellow : He/She shall be a person who (i) is not less than 40 years of age and has held a position of responsibility for a minimum period of 15 years and possesses a high academic qualification and has distinction in and has, rendered outstanding service to the profession of Plant Engineering. |

Life Member : He/She shall be a person who (i) is not less than 30 years of age (ii)possesses degree or equivalent qualification in engineering from a recognized institution with 6 years experience, possesses a diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering with 8 years experience or a degree in Science or equivalent with 9 years of experience. |

Member : He/She shall be a person who (i) is not less than 30 years of age (ii)possesses degree or equivalent qualification in engineering from a recognized institution with 6 years experience, possesses a diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering with 8 years experience or a degree in Science or equivalent with 9 years of experience. |

Associate Member : He/She shall be a person who (i) is not less than 25 year of age. (ii) possesses a degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering with 4 year experience or possesses a degree in science with 5 years experience. |

Graduate Member : A member described herein admitted to the Institution by Governing Council. He/She shall be a person who (i) is not less than 21 years of age (ii) holds a degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification. |

Student Member : He/She shall be a person who (i) is not less than 18 years of age (ii) is preparing for a professional career and appearing for the examinations of Indian Institution of Plant Engineers. This category of membership is restricted to a maximum period of 5 years. |

He/She be a person who (i) is not less than 25 years of age (ii) by virtue of his/her qualification and/or professional experience is required to co-operate with Plant Engineers in their normal activities and who is involved actively in the advancement or
profession of Plant Engineering. |
